I just used a cover photo of my ring from my wedding to make the Wedding part obvious as well as the little floral logo I made.
the "About Page" includes the 2 descriptions I made at the begining of the semester & a email address I made to keep in contact with vendors.
Insights Overview
from 4/11-4/17 (I couldn't figure out how to make the overview a larger span of time) The page has been fairly steady because I post so frequently. It just seems to be doing better and better as I reach more people.
Page Likes
From the start of my Facebook page until now my total page likes has just steadily increased. Obviously it started of a lot stronger when I first started and had friends & family like the page all at one time. But other spurts of net likes have just been from the specific vendors sharing on their pages generating likes.
Visits
I've had a variety of types of visits, of coarse most obviously the timeline. That's where the bulk of the posts were structured. With every post came 3-5 pictures which describes why the photos tab got some attention as well.
People
This was actually pretty fun to look at because I hadn't looked at it before. I was taken aback by who as has visited my page in different countries even! Crazy! The people that are engaged and that are my fans were actually my target market which I was glad. Women ages 18-34 as well as 45-54 in the state of Arizona specifically Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix, Chandler, etc. With the 11 people from St George being from class :)
& the big kahuna Posts!
The way I structured my page was with an average of 2 posts a week with 2 break weeks with 0 posts.
^ Most of my posts were done through the status feature (which were vendor posts) where I included pictures into the post. My first video post was actually done on Thursday this week! I also started doing album posts that feature inspiration from a real wedding. I think one reason status posts did better was because I asked each vendor to share that post onto their pages that had a following.
All in all I think this page was a success. I am debating what I want to do with it going forward. I have had people reach out to me with what they would like to see, so I want to definitely follow through with those. This idea was originally a website idea so I was glad I could try it out on facebook first. I'm glad I was able to see first hand how to run a social media account for not just myself and the statistics with that as well!
